On Sunday 5th March thirteen-year-old Jack Leslie zipped across the River Tyne from the rooftop of the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease.

As I was approaching the grand old age of 60 in June this year, I decided to celebrate in a way that I would always remember! At the same time I wanted to raise funds for the MND Association in memory of my dad, who sadly passed away in 1997 from this dreadful disease.
We would like to give a big thank you to all the people who came along to enjoy our night of traditional North East, and folk music and original verse at the NINE bar in Newcastle on the 16th July 2016.
